Kids Programs
It is important to keep kids of all ages (young children, tweens and teens) reading and their brains active throughout the year. This makes the transition from summer to school year smooth.
Story/Tot-Time will be offered for children in the Florence County Library during the school calendar year. Be sure to stay posted on times and dates. These will be posted to our website, Facebook page and also be printed in the local papers.
The “Friends of FCL also gives away a free book and stuffed animal monthly. Children receive a free ticket to be entered into the drawing for each book they read or are read too!
Florence County Library will also offer a fun filled summer reading program yearly. These events will be free to the public and will include a snack.



















Adult Programs
Florence County Library strives to have programming for all age groups. With the help of our “Friends” group we have been successful in having author talks, book signings, art shows and a various other activities. These events will be held throughout the year. Be sure to watch the local papers and our webpage for up-coming speakers and events.
We also host a monthly book club the first Thursday of each month at 10 AM. Be sure to join us if you are able!
